United Christian Ministries is a grass roots organization located in the Appalachian Mountains of Pennsylvania. A pocket of Poverty and great need from Education to simple necessities like food and clothing.

Housing

Housing for Homeless persons with disabilities is a primary ministry of UCM.

Education

Empowering people to deal with life and helping people learn to help themselves is as important as food and clothing. To that end, United Christian Ministries has brought Family Literacy Programs, Adult Education, and GED Preparation Classes, as well as Nutrition and Parenting Classes.

Counseling

Many problems that force families into hunger and homelessness can be dealt with through counseling by trained professional counselors at UCM.
